This opportunity turns you into a promoter of pyramid schemes. The only way that you will be getting paid by these type of opportunties is to recruit other people into this scheme. Basically, once you paid your fee and you will get a package. In this package, they will say that you are not going to get money per envelope that you stuff. Instead, you will get paid for each person that you convince to pay the deposit fee for getting the starter package. The more leads that you generate the more money that you get. This is the information that they are withholding from you before you pay for your package. So what this policy does is that it turns you into a person who tries to scam other people. It wants you to tell your family and all your friends to join this so that you can get paid for each lead that you generate. I wouldn’t do this to my friends or my family at all. And if you are the type that is willing to do this, how are you going to generate your leads to earn the claimed $3000 per month? It would be really difficult and you will get no security at all. It’s all commission based.

3) Companies Don’t Need You to Stuff Envelopes

In this century, envelopes are all stuffed by machine. This is the most efficient and cost effective method. Furthermore, there is more accuracy when you are using machines. So when offers claim that you can get $3000 per month by stuffing envelopes, that’s just completely absurd. Companies can’t just spending $3000 per month on you to stuff envelopes, when they could do much more volume per day if they were to buy a machine instead. When we are in a society where we use machines to automate many of our tasks, it doesn’t make any sense if they take a step back and hire individuals to do easily automated tasks like stuffing envelopes.

4) Even if you make money, they try to take more from you in the form of Processing Fees.

Yup, they have these “processing fees” in which they take even more of your hard earned money. These are unjustified and can be up to 10% of your earnings. It’s a great way to knock you down after you earned some cash for them.

5) Overall, this is too much of a headache to even bother with.

Your reputation will be damaged if you try to recruit your friends. You will lose some money and depending on if you recruit other people or not, you may be breaking the law because the Federal Trade Commission has classified this type of opportunity as a scam. So you are knowingly spreading scam offers to other people. You will be fully reponsible for any actions that you take under this scheme and you might be investigated. So it is best to avoid this scam completely.

What I recommend Instead

It’s really depressing how this scam never seems to fade away and die out. This scheme is more popular than ever and now they are more creative with their advertising.

If you decide to partake in a stuffing envelope opportunity, then you will be a member of their “software division” and that there are plenty of guarantees that they offer so you won’t lose your money.

This is just a reminder post that these are 100% scams no matter how good they sound. Hiring people to stuff envelopes and paying them a decent salary (around $3000-5000 per month) doesn’t make sense in this day of age where technology automates most of the tedious work.

The only way you might have a chance of getting any payment from these people who operate the stuffing envelope schemes is if you recruit your friends and family to join you into this scheme. You likely get commission for referring your friends, but however you will be faced with legal problems since you have just created a pyramid scheme. You get payment from the signup fee that your friends pay but now they have to recruit more people in order to recuperate their losses. It’s a never ending scheme where there is always going to be someone at the bottom.

Over the course of a year that would equate to $360,000. With that money, you can buy a machine that can automate the whole stuffing envelope process.

As you can see, the outrageous claims of the salaries for such a simple and easy job does not make any sense at all. Instead, these are meant to trap you to invest your own money so that they can steal it from you.

Court Jails Promoter of Work-At-Home Scam; Envelope-Stuffing Scheme Deceived Spanish-Speaking Consumers
A federal court has jailed the marketer of a deceptive envelope-stuffing scheme for ignoring a court order that required him to stop his illegal practices.

The defendant targeted Spanish-speaking consumers throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, deceiving them to think they could earn substantial income working at home stuffing envelopes in exchange for a $37 fee. The only thing consumers received was a pamphlet telling them to place their own misleading ads to sell the same pamphlet to other consumers. The defendant kept up the scam despite a December 2008 court order that barred him from deceiving consumers and required him to close the post office boxes he used for taking orders.

The defendant is Zoilo Cruz, also known as Zoilo Cruz Carrion, and is doing business as International Marketing and Universal Wealth. The U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico found Cruz in contempt of the order and ordered him incarcerated until he complies with the court’s 2008 order.

The FTC brought this case with the assistance of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

Hello, Susan here,
