Work from Home Stuffing Envelopes – 5 Reasons not to Join

Work from Home Stuffing Envelopes is one of the longest and most well known scams on the Internet. It’s surprising this scam is still receiving a lot of searches per month from Google. Not many people are aware of this and they percieve it as a legit work at home opportunity. I hope that my experiences will provide you an insight into how the work at home stuffing envelopes schemes really work. If you what to know what I think is the best way to make money online, please continue reading. I share my story of what worked for me at the end.

1) Real Opportunites Do Not Require Any Startup Fees at All

One of the first things that you are required to do if you want to sign up for a work from home stuffing envelopes is to order a starter kit. Supposedly, this kit contains all the information you need to get started, including contacts of your potential employers. The cost of this package varies, but I have seen some kits cost up to $69.99. This is intended to show them that you are serious about this opportunity. Does this seem a bit absurd to you? In any legitimate employment opportunity, you are never required to pay a fee in order to get the job. This is not a condition at all. But however, this seems to be the case for these work from home stuffing enevelope opportunities. They want you pay a certain amount to get started. This definitely reaks of scam. You have no guarantee of whats in the package or any gaurantee of a job offer that pays the claimed amount. If they can pay you the proposed $3000 a month from stuffing envelopes, why do they need to collect a fee from you?

2) Work from Home Stuffing Envelope Opportunities are Pyramid Schemes

This opportunity turns you into a promoter of pyramid schemes. The only way that you will be getting paid by these type of opportunties is to recruit other people into this scheme. Basically, once you paid your fee and you will get a package. In this package, they will say that you are not going to get money per envelope that you stuff. Instead, you will get paid for each person that you convince to pay the deposit fee for getting the starter package. The more leads that you generate the more money that you get. This is the information that they are withholding from you before you pay for your package. So what this policy does is that it turns you into a person who tries to scam other people. It wants you to tell your family and all your friends to join this so that you can get paid for each lead that you generate. I wouldn’t do this to my friends or my family at all. And if you are the type that is willing to do this, how are you going to generate your leads to earn the claimed $3000 per month? It would be really difficult and you will get no security at all. It’s all commission based.

3) Companies Don’t Need You to Stuff Envelopes

In this century, envelopes are all stuffed by machine. This is the most efficient and cost effective method. Furthermore, there is more accuracy when you are using machines. So when offers claim that you can get $3000 per month by stuffing envelopes, that’s just completely absurd. Companies can’t just spending $3000 per month on you to stuff envelopes, when they could do much more volume per day if they were to buy a machine instead. When we are in a society where we use machines to automate many of our tasks, it doesn’t make any sense if they take a step back and hire individuals to do easily automated tasks like stuffing envelopes.

4) Even if you make money, they try to take more from you in the form of Processing Fees.

Yup, they have these “processing fees” in which they take even more of your hard earned money. These are unjustified and can be up to 10% of your earnings. It’s a great way to knock you down after you earned some cash for them.

5) Overall, this is too much of a headache to even bother with.

Your reputation will be damaged if you try to recruit your friends. You will lose some money and depending on if you recruit other people or not, you may be breaking the law because the Federal Trade Commission has classified this type of opportunity as a scam. So you are knowingly spreading scam offers to other people. You will be fully reponsible for any actions that you take under this scheme and you might be investigated. So it is best to avoid this scam completely.

What I recommend Instead: Paid Surveys

The economy has been in a bit of a turmoil lately with jobs getting trimmed left and right. Chances are you or a loved one has been affected in some way, but don’t let this drive you to do something stupid. Save yourself from joining a pyramid scheme like home stuffing envelopes. There are plenty of legitimate ways to earn a little bonus income without having to burn your ties with all of your family and friends. If you’d like to make a little cash to supplement your salary, or maybe just bring in enough to pay for the groceries every week, then look to paid surveys online. This is a great way to bring in a little cash without any commitment and it earns you money by completing surveys for large corporations.

Online surveys usually take about 10 minutes to complete. They’re often simple questionnaires comprised of multiple choice questions and they don’t require any experience or education in order to complete. If you have basic reading skills and an internet connection, which I assume you do because you found your way here, go over to one of the many sites that offer real benefits for your time. Don’t be fooled by those websites out there that require you to pay to sign up for their services. If they try to fool you into giving away your money then you know they aren’t a legitimate enterprise. Many online survey sites will actually offer you money just to sign up! That’s right; some companies will offer you $4 just for signing up on their website.

These online companies understand that your feedback is valuable and are willing to offer you a real incentive to fill out their forms. Most companies require feedback in order to run smoothly and are always looking to hear back from customers and shoppers. It’s not often that people are willing to take a minute out of their day to fill out such a form. To combat this growing problem, then, online survey sites step in and provide this service to companies for a fee. That way, you get to befit from your time!

A company like Wal-Mart will actually pay online survey sites to collect information. Those sites are merely passing along a percentage of that compensation to you. You don’t have to sign up for crazy schemes just to try and rake in a little extra money each month. Sign up for a legitimate service and bring in the kind of money that your time deserves. One of the best online survey service companies is Your Free Surveys. They have over 2 million members, making them one of the largest survey sites around today. With a $4 bonus awarded to members just for signing up, you know that they’re willing to provide you the money you need and you can rest assured that you’ll actually receive cold, hard cash!!

I recommend that you sign up for MySurveys USA. Check out their official site here. (Note this is the USA only link) This company is super well known and has given out 30 millions dollars already! Sign up is completely free!

With paid surveys, you can make somewhere in the neighborhood of $200-$1000 a month to help out with all of your expenses. This isn’t an enormous amount of money but it can ensure that the little time you devote to filling out surveys will help pay the bills.

But BE CAREFUL! Some online survey sites will try to scam you! Make sure to avoid those companies by checking for the tell-tale signs of a scam artist. They’ll pay you less than you deserve and may ask for upfront payments from you. Don’t sign up for these services! Check out instead some of the following sites that are legitimate enterprises willing to pay up to $1000 a month to dedicated survey fillers. When you click on the following links, they’ll pop open in a new window. These companies are the ones that I use personally. For best results, sign up to all of them to make the most money.
